The Spanish government announced the closure of its internal borders with France and Portugal effective at midnight March 16/17. We understand that this will affect road travel only, and means that only Spanish citizens will be allowed to enter Spanish territory by road from Portugal and France. Spanish government contacts indicate that flights will still be allowed to depart Spain.

１ 世界保健機関（ＷＨＯ）によると，３月１５日現在，新型コロナウイルス感染者は累計で約１５万人となっている上，感染者数は世界的な広がりを見せています。３月１１日，ＷＨＯは，新型コロナウイルス感染症がパンデミックと形容されると評価しています。
２ このような状況の中，各国では出入国規制や検疫体制が強化されています。今後も各国・地域において事前の予告なしに新たな規制等が導入されたり，検疫によって隔離措置がとられるなどの可能性もあります。
３ 外務省としては，各国における入国制限措置等について情報収集し，海外安全ホームページに掲載していますが，在留邦人及び渡航者の皆様におかれては，感染の地理的拡大の可能性に注意し，現地の状況が悪化する可能性も念頭に，各国の出入国規制や検疫体制の強化に関する最新情報を確認するとともに，感染予防に万全を期してください。
