今朝から、スプリンクラーをONにした。散水時間は30-30-15-30分の長さで日曜日水曜日の週二回で始める。今日はイースターで、錦織さんのイースター礼拝にZoomで参加する。知人が何人かいた。Beechwoodでは子供たちが出て来ていて、ピヨンの坊やが私にイスターギフトだと言って、Regoの入ったプラスチックのボールのようなものをくれた。マーフィーも散歩に出ていた。New Houseのお嬢ちゃんは、チャーリーが、いたくお気に入り。WoodlandからCrestに登ると、今日のマンハッタンは少し霞んでいた。
帰宅してから、今日到着したSoakerで南天に水をやる。庭の北西角に植えた南天は枯れていた。北東側の並木も生き残るのは2－3本ではないかと思う。玄関脇のは大丈夫。古いSoaker は布製で、縫い目から激しく水が漏れる。一年目はよかったが、二年目以降は使えなくなっていた。

The Oratorio Society of New York presents Handel’s Messiah, a holiday tradition since 1874. Kent Tritle conducts chorus, orchestra, and soloists Susanna Phillips, Heather Petrie, Joshua Blue, and Sidney Outlaw.
In October of 2020, the Society recorded selections from Messiah in a socially distanced environment with masks and COVID tests, in upstate NY. Additional members of the Society joined virtually for a triumphant finale singing the Hallelujah chorus.
