2022.0803.(Wed) Navarrte-Najera 16.2km 10.1 miles
Today it was over 16 km and walked all the way. It was rightly raining in the morning and started with poncho on. While procuring lunch, visiting farmacia and church, rain ended. Started to walk at 10. Many peregrinos were walking with me but everyone walked faster. It was very gentle ascent to Alto de San Anton. The view from the Alto was OK but not so impressive. The descent was among the vineyards. Acres and acers of vineyards continued from the Alto to Najera. It was again hot and dry. A guy from Pavia, Italia passed me who said he departed from Loglono this morning.
At about 3 km before arriving Najera, black cloud was in sight and heard some rolls of thunder. Kept going towards town but it started to come down when just crossing the bridge over the Rio Najerilla. Luckily, dd not get wet so much. The hotel was the same as 7 years ago and TV in the room was made by Sharp.
今日は20㎞以下なので、宿から宿まで歩きます。宿を出るときには雨がしょぼついていましたので、ポンチョを着て出ました。昼食を買ったり、薬局でバンドエイドを買ったり、教会でスタンプをもらったりしていると、出発は10時になり、雨はやんでいました。Loglonoは汽車の便がいいので、巡礼の数がまた増えたように思います。私の出発時点でまだ50人ぐらいが村の教会前に残っていて、既に出発した巡礼は何百人かいたのでしょう。ブドウ畑の中を緩やかな勾配で峠に向かって登ります。あとから来た巡礼には、どんどん追い越されていきます。途中の休憩所で昼食をとり、指の消毒をしました。晴れてきて、猛烈に暑くなってきました。峠には1：20に着きましたが、そんなにいい景色ではありませんでした。西側に下ると見渡す限りのブドウ畑です。Pavia, Italiaから来たという長身のイタリア人巡礼に追い越されましたが、彼は今朝Loglonoから出発したそうです。Loglono-Najerraは29㎞ですから、普通の巡礼なら普通に歩ける距離ではありますが。あまりに暑いので、Rio Yaldeの川岸にあるピクニックエリアでしばらく休みました。ここからは平地でNajerraまでは3㎞なのですが、行く手の平原に黒雲が沸いてきました。黒雲の周りに雨が降っているのが見えます。雨に会わないようにと急ぎますが、Najerra の村に入った途端にポツリポツリと、やがてシャーと降ってきましたが、あまり濡れないうちに宿に着きました。この宿は7年前に泊まった宿でした。部屋の液晶テレビがシャープ製だったので、嬉しくなりました。
