0304（Mon）OSNY dress rehearsal for the next day at the St. Bartholomew Church. Walked to train station to take 3:41train to meet Ms. Abe at 5:30 in front of the church to give tickets for the concert. Waited in the church for 7pm dress rehearsal. Took 10:15 bus home.
0305 (Tue) Concert day. Started at 7pm with a small piece in Italian “Le Stelle”. The “Cloud Anthem” will be sung in November at the Carnegie Hall. Mahler2 started from movement 4 and organ played for a long time. this was not easy piece because tenor had B to sing in the 5th movement. Felt B-9 was easier than Mahler because the highest note was “A”. I sang this B-9 so many times that I now memorized and was able to sing well. AT the end of the concert, I was asked to help Richard Pace, former president of the chorus because he was not able to move fast. I walked with him and brought him to his family who was waiting for him at the sanctuary. the reward of looking Richard after was that I could meet with Suzanna Phillips who sang Soprano solo for the concert. She ran NY marathon in 2014 when I also did. We both sang at Carnegie Hall on the next day. So, we were talking about Marathon and B-9 about which I told her to sing in Japan where 10000 singers sing.
0306(Wed) Went to Costco with Kayoko.
0307 (Thu) Went to hair stylist to give Eri information about her trip to Fireze and Venezia. She already departed but her assistant send the info by the Line.
