The Altitude of Castres is around 180m and Boisezzon is 279m. This means only 100m should come down. However, trail went up and down many times and went down many times.
The exit of the village of Boissezon was not passable due to landfall and we had to go around. before that, I wanted to see the church high above and this costed me 30 min. In Le Casterlet, I saw same billbord twice. I realized I went into east bound trail. This costed me an hour.
The trail went up to 357m before finally came down to 180m. However, at 180m street level, it was scorching heat and continued very long like 4 km (felt like 8km). Finally arrived to the hotel at 5pm which was nice in the center of the city and hotel was rated as 2 star. The rated hotel was since Arles.
Went to an Italian restaurant to see it was Italian cuisine or French. It was French.
カミノ100日巡礼のうち、20日目です。
今日の目的地、Castresの標高は180m、一方Boissezonのそれは279mですから、100mだけ下ればいいということなのです。しかし、カミノは何度も登ったり降りたりしました。さて、今日は宿から宿まで歩きます。Boissezonの村の出口は、がけ崩れがあったので通行止めになっていて、回り道を通る様になっていました。村を出る前に、山の上にある教会に敬意を表しに登りました。かなりの急登で、教会は勿論閉まっていましたが、マリア像がやさしく微笑んでくださいました。これに30分余分にかかりました。それから道標の通り回り道をして村を出ました。それ以降は標高200m前後のほぼ水平の道を行きました。Le Casterletで同じ看板を一時間後に再度見ました。おかしいなと思って考えてみると、知らないうちに東行きの道に入ってしまっていたのです。これで、一時間ほど損をしました。10㎞ほど歩いた地点で道路回りの木々は無くなり、Castresの平野を見下ろすとても見晴らしのいい道となりましたので、展望を楽しみながら歩きました。さらに下ってCastresの町に入ると、カンカン照りでとても暑くなり、市街地を4㎞も歩きました。（実際、8㎞に感じました。）町の中心部にある二つ星の宿には5：00に着きました。川に沿っていてレストランも近く、とてもいいホテルでした。この町は人口約4万人で、鉄道、バスなどが通じていて、巡礼をここで終わる人、ここから始める人などがいます。イタリアンレストランに行き、料理はイタリアンかフレンチがどちらだろうと思っていましたら、やっぱりフレンチでした。
