About one hour from Estella, I knew there was Irache wine fountain. I had a sip and had someone take picture. It is an encouragement for life to know there is unlimited amount of wine is provided somewhere. At Azqueta, put the picture on Facebook. In this village, met with Mr. Goto, Brazilian 7 years ago and recalled I lost poncho. I said to Mr. Goto that I AZUKETA (leave it to someone’s custody) my poncho here.
Climbed hill to Monjardin. The bar was changed and impression was different. 13km from there was really difficult. No water or no shade. Just continuation of dry land. For me, I had to stop often, take as much water I could. Joined with German mother and daughter at lunch at the trail side. Tried to walk together thereafter but they walked much faster. Well, anyone walked much faster than me.
Los Arcos was in the fest and selection for dinner was limited. Met with 2 German girls and 2 French boys and they invited me to their table. Had very good conversation with them.
Middle finger of the right hand was infected. Spoke with Naoko and sent picture of infected finger. She said it will cure by itself.
今日のカミノは川と川の間の21.5㎞、Rio Egaに始まり、Rio Odronで終わります。9年前に歩いたので、ワインの泉がある事、後半の13キロは過酷であることは知っていました。Estellaから歩くと一時間ほどの距離に人だかりがしていて、そこがIracheのワインの泉でした。本当はたらふく飲みたかったのですが、朝なので数杯に止めておきました。ここからまた一時間ほどでAzqueta という村に着きました。9年前には途中で日系ブラジル人の後藤さんに会い、Azuquetaでバルに入って出てくると、干してあったポンチョが見当たらず、村に「アズケタ」と思って先に進みました。そのAzquetaをでると、道は登りになりMonjardinの村に着きました。ここのバルは、少し趣が変わっていましたが、昔の記憶が戻ってきました。さて、ここからLos Arcosまでの13㎞は過酷でした。炎天下、影はなくまして水場などもありません。ただ白い道が延々と続いているのみでした。途中でドイツ人の母と娘の巡礼に会い、ランチを一緒に食べました。彼女たちに遅れまいと先に出ましたが、すぐに追い越されました。しばらく行くと何か声がするのですが、よく聞き取れず、そのまま行きました。GPSをみると、コースから外れています。地形を見ると、沢が近くにあり（涸れ沢でしたが）、これに沿って行くとカミノに合流するとわかりましたので、沢沿いの道を歩きました。カミノとの合流点で母と娘の巡礼が待ってくれていました。声がしたのは、彼女たちが私に道が違うと教えてくれたものとわかりましたので、あつくお礼を言いました。
Los Arcosの町は、夏祭り中なので開いている食堂は少なく、開いていてもメニューは限定されていました。ホテルの食堂で、ドイツ人の女性2名とフランス人の男性二人が、彼らのテーブルによんでくれて、5人で楽しく食事をしました。
右手の中指の先が膿んできていました。写真を撮って長女（学生時代は医者志望）に送ると、放っておけば治るとの返事でした。
