This day, again, had to go through dry land. 7km from Los Arcos was Sansol. Stood a tall church, one of two towers on both sides of the Rio Linares. Descend to the river and go up the village of Torres of Rio. There was a church in octagon shape and in front of the church, saw a young guy with a bag with fruit in it. Met with a guy of in the 50’s at the fountain of the village.
Start ascent towards the hill of N.S. del Poyo. 2km from the village, this man came down and asked me if I saw a boy. I said No but I might have seen the boy. Kept going and at the peak of Poyo, mother and sister of the boy was sitting. Now I realized a family of four was walking and the boy was missing. I told the mother that I might have seen him in the village, and she appeared to be very relieved from worries. Soon, the father found the boy and happily ever after.
From there to Vianna, it was hot and dry.
They were resting at a temporary bar with generator and at near the Rio Cornala. I also stopped and had some tea.
From there, we had to go across another plateau before arriving Vianna. My hotel in Vianna was same as this family of 4 and came across many times up to Navarette.
前回はLogronoまでの27.8ｋｍを歩きましたが、今回は難しいので途中20.3㎞のViana泊まりとしました。途中、Sansolで薬局に寄って、膿んだ指を見せて抗生物質のクリームを買いました。Sansolの村から80ｍほど下の川Rio Linaresに降りてローマ橋で渡り、向かいのTorres del Rioの村の中を登ります。村の中に八角形の教会堂があり、Eunateと同じOrder of Knightsが建てたとのことです。残念ながら閉まっていました。この教会前で20歳ぐらいの若者が、果物をぶら下げて歩くのに出会いました。しばらくすると50すぎぐらいの男性に出会いました。標高570mの丘を登っていると、この50すぎぐらいの男性が降りてきます。わけを聞くと息子が来ないので探しに戻るとのことでした。丘の頂上付近で石を積んだケルンみたいなものが50基ぐらいある地点で、母と娘が座っていました。わけを聞くと息子が見当たらないので夫が探しに行ったと言います。その息子は20ぐらいで果物をぶら下げた子かと聞くとそうだというので、それなら村で会ったと言ったら、たいそう安心した様子でした。30分ぐらい一緒に座っていましたら、ご主人から息子が見つかったと携帯で連絡が入り、その15分後には果物をぶら下げた息子と登ってきました。この4人家族とはホテルが一緒ということが分かり、ホテルまでほぼ一緒に歩きました。ケルン群のすぐそばにNuestra Señora del Poyoという小さな教会堂がありました。ここからViana まではまだ8㎞ほどあり、カンカン照りの荒野を下ります。途中でカフェトラックが開いていました。紅茶を頼むと、30ｍぐらい離れている発電機をスタートし、電子レンジで湯を作っていました。火を使わないで湯を沸かせるのです。Rio Cornava という涸れ沢を渡り、もう一山超えたらVianaが見えてきました。一部自動車道を歩きました。見えてからがまた長かったですが、Viana の村に着きました。宿は三ツ星で、たいそう良い宿でした。
