2022,0820.(Sat) Resting day in Leon
Had zoom meeting with college friends at 9 – 10 am then had breakfast in the garden of the hotel. Went out to visit the cathedral but was closed for wedding. Visited museum and also closed soon. Went the front of the cathedral and took pictures of attendants of the wedding.
Visited San Isidoro Museum, next door of the hotel. Went back to the hotel and discussed with M-san regarding FB live in length,
At 4 pm, live started. It was funny feeling that they could watch me but I could not see them at all. I forgot to say that walking was the best way of traveling.
Went to visit the cathedral again. The stained glasses were not only beautiful, they are overwhelming and unable to express with photo, movie or words.
I wanted to take a photo of me with block letters of L.E.O.N. in front of me and the cathedral behind me. But there were many people waiting to take the same photo and I did not have patience to wait my turn. May want to come back in the next day at early time.
I felt tired with zoom meeting and live, came back to hotel. It was a good day.
休養日です。朝9時から10時まで大学時代の友人10人ほどとZoom Meetingをしました、フランスのAngles以来のZoomでしたので、その後の進捗状況を話しました。カテドラル見学にホテルを出ようとしたら、おめかしした人たちがホテルに何組かいましたので、結婚式ですかと聞いたらそうです、どこですかと聞いたらカテドラルだと言います。これでは、カテドラルは閉まっているかもしれないと思いながら行ったのですが、案の定閉まっていました。カテドラルの博物館が開いていたので見学し、スタンプをもらいましたが、やがて閉まりました。そこで、カテドラル前に集まっている結婚式出席者の写真を撮りました。ホテルの隣のSan Isidoro Museumを見学し、部屋に戻ってFacobook Live の打ち合わせをしました。4時になったので、Liveを開始しました。Live の参加者は私が見えるのですが、私は参加者が見えないので、誰が参加しているのかわからず、何か変な感じでした。「最良の旅の方法は歩くこと」というのを言い忘れました。それからまたカテドラルに行きました。ステンドグラスは美しいだけでなく圧倒されました。とても写真、ビデオ、言葉などで表現することはできないと思いました。カテドラル前の広場にLEONという文字があるのですが、これを前に、カテドラルをバックにした写真を撮りたかったのですが、あまりにも多くの人が順番待ちをしているので諦めました。翌朝来ればいいのかもしれません。ZoomとLiveをしたので、なんか疲れたような感じがしたので、ホテルに帰りました。とても充実した一日でした。
