Wanted buy running shorts for heat remedy and took taxi to Logrono. There was a shopping center and there were 4 shops of sporting goods. I did not have time to visit all and just visited 2 and bought some running shorts. I am not sure I would ware these on Camino because they are thin.
On the way back from the sopping canter, I took a bus to go to opposite direction and had to wait until bus gets to the end of the route and turn back to the centro. Got off the bus and went into cathedral where I luckily met a priest who just came out the confession booth. I asked him for the stamp on my credential and he directed me to where to get it.
The city of Loglono has 150,000 people and took 2 hours to get out of the city. then had to go across a ridge by Alto Grajera to get to Navarette. This crossing of the ridge was so hot, I thought I would get burned. Due to interchange construction of the highway, the Camino was slightly altered from 7 years ago.
The dinner at Restaurant Sala was very good and the price was less than 20 euro with excellent Rioja wine. There, met with the family of 4 of yesterday. Another guest voluntary helped me to translate the restaurant menu.

連日の暑さでは、半ズボンでも暑く感じるので、ランニング用のパンツを買おうと思いました。人口15万人の大都会、Loglonoなら運動着の店はあるだろうと宿で確かめますと、4軒がショッピングセンターにかたまっていると教えてくれました。それで9㎞先のLoglonoに車で行きました。途中、ナバラ州かリオハ州に入り、Rio Ebroの本流をこえました。ショッピングセンターで車を降りて店を見つけ、二軒目でやっと、それらしきものを手に入れました。帰りはバスで大聖堂に行こうとしましたが、反対方向行きのバスに乗ってしまいました。終点まで行って引き返して、大聖堂の近くで降りました。大聖堂に入ると、ちょうど神父さんが懺悔ブースから出てきたところで、クレデンシャルにスタンプをくれる所を教えてもらいました。
Loglonoは大きな町で、市街地を抜けるのに2時間かかりました。やっと町を出て、Pantano de La Grajeraという池のある公園を抜け、峠の登りにかかります。　峠はLoglonoから９㎞ほど西にある、Alto Grajeraという543ｍの標高の丘を越えるのです。Loglognoからは150mぐらい登るだけなのですが、炎天下でこれだけ登るのはかなり辛いものがありました。巡礼路と高速道路A-12が並んで峠を越えます。ここから西を望むと、次の高台にあるNavarreteの村がきれいに見えました。いったん平野に降りて、またNavarreteの村のある高台に登ります。高速道路のインターの工事中で、埃っぽい中を休み休み登りました。宿は番人が一人いるだけで、食事はレストランで食べてくれと言います。レストランのリオハワインも料理もとてもおいしかったうえに、安かったので、得をした気分になりました。ここで昨日会った四人家族にまた会いました。それから、別のカップルが、レストランのメニューを親切に解説してくれました。
