The plane landed around 12:30. I stayed at the CDG airport as long as possible because I thought to wait at the CDG airport was much safer than Gare de Lyon train station called home to tell I had arrived and my wife called me. At this time, telephone was working.
Left CDG airport around 3:30 by taxi to catch a train departing for Arles from Gare de Lyon at 5:41. Traffic was bad and turned into worse. Driver decided to get off the highway and drove surface road. Arrived at the Gare de Lyon at 4:45 and start lookin at the sign board to tell which platform would a train depart. At around 5:20, signboard said it would be departing on Track C. Everyone waiting the sign rushed to platform C and it was quite a scene to see people pushing because gate was operated by QR code and reading of QR code was very slow.
Train quietly departed on time and kept going quietly but as fast as bullet train of Japan. It arrived Arles about 20 minutes late. Everyone had to go down in the stair to go under the track. I was not able to carry 2 x 20kg bag and other young passengers helped me. Thank goodness. A taxi I arranged was waiting for me and arrived at the hotel 10 minutes later. I called home to tell I had arrived in Arles. But, the telephone did not work.
フライトは昼の12：30にシャルル・ド・ゴール空港に着きました。家族にパリ到着の電話を入れました。リヨン駅発のTGVは午後5：41発です。リヨン駅よりも、空港の方が安全と思いましたので、空港を3：30にタクシーで出ました。高速道路の渋滞はひどいものがありました。パリ周回高速に入ると一層ひどくなったので、運転手は高速道路を捨てて地道に降り、リヨン駅には4：45に着きました。それから、出発のホームがアサインされるのを待って、電動掲示板をにらんでおりました。5:20 ごろになって、掲示板はプラットホーム C から私の汽車が出ると表示されたので、そこへ向かいました。同じ列車に乗る人たちが、一斉にそこへ向かいますので、押し合いへし合いになりました。理由は、ホームに入るには各人のQRコードを読んで入るのですが、コードを読むのが遅い為でした。列車は定刻に静かに発車し、静かに走りました。速度は日本の新幹線並みですが、静かで振動が少ないTGVの方が、私は好きです。アルルには、四時間で着く予定のところ20分遅れて到着しました。乗客は地下通路に降りて、通路を歩き、又階段を登るのですが、階段なので20㎏のスーツケース2つを同時に運ぶことができません。幸いにも、若い人が助けてくれて、よかったです。予約してあったタクシーに乗って、10分後にはホテルに入りました。家族に電話しましたが、電話は通じませんでした。
