Took Taxi to the Col de la Baraque, the ridge between Lodeve and Lunas. From there, I followed the Camino. In a few hours, arrived at the bottom where stream runs. Then, the Camino marking required to go up a hill towards Joncels. I did not see a good reason to visit Joncels, I headed directly to Lunas.
The family operating the Lunas hotel were so wonderful and cordial. However, they were going thru renovation and restaurant is closed during my stay.
Problem. My baggage were not arrived. Hotel in Lunas made numerous calls but no response. I called Caroline at WTC and she found baggage are still in Lodeve. WTC was arranging taxi to carry them over here but not successful. Lunas hotel volunteered to make trip to Lodeve to retrieve them. They came back around 7:30 with my baggage.
Because my hotel’s kitchen is closed, they made a reservation to nearby restaurant, Castle of Lunas. Very good restaurant and I enjoyed the meal and service very much.
今日は26㎞を超える長い距離で、しかも峠越えなので、宿の標高171mから634mの峠まで車に乗りました。峠までのカミノの距離は12.2㎞で、峠から目的地までの距離は14.1㎞です。Col de la Baraque峠から9：40に出発、自動車道D142を2㎞ほど行くと、カミノは農道に入ります。本日の最高点691mのCroix de Luchidechideに着き、これから下りとなります。ここから小川の標高411mに着くまでの標高差約300mの砂利道はかなり厳しいものがありました。小川に着いてからは、小川に沿って下りました。カミノはJoncelsという村を通っていますが、遠回りしてその村を経由しなければならない理由もないので、小川に沿って舗装道を下りました。道は自然にLunasの村に入り、3：20ごろに着きました。宿に着くと、「あなたの来るのを二年も待っていた。」と大変な歓迎を受けました。確かに、コロナの前から計画していたので、二年待ってもらったことになります。宿は改装中のため、食事は川向かいのChatear de Lunasという、以前はお城であったレストランを予約をしてくれていました。とてもいいレストランで、おいしい食事でした。ここで、Kir酒というのをはじめて頂いて、フランスを歩く間はよくこの食前酒を頂くようになりました。（スペインに入ると、このお酒はありませんでした。）
