2022.0613.(Mon) Resting day in Lunas
The hotel personnel recommended me to visit Buddhist temple. Taxi climbed the hill and went back to Col de la Baraque and continue to go north. The road was connecting ridges and car was going thru from one ridge to the other. While enjoying the ride, arrived the temple. The temple was Tibetan. Ticket office personnel, who had an excellent command of English, explained briefly and she said His Holiness, Dalai Rama visited few times and temple had his room. When I explained Japanese Buddhism and pilgrim very briefly and chanted Hannya-Shingyo, to my surprise, she joined my chanting. So, I believed that she must be some kind of Buddhism scholar.
Came back to the hotel and washed clothing and caught up emails and blog.
2022年6月13日（月）Lunasにて休養日
これは、前日Lodeveのホテルでも聞きましたが、こんなフランスの山の中に仏教寺院があるそうです。今日のホテルの人は是非にと勧めるので、行ってみることにしました。前日にはホテル経営者のお嬢ちゃんが運転していってくれるとのことでしたが、用事ができたとのことで、タクシーにしました。昨日の峠まで登り、さらに北に向かいます。道路は稜線伝いにつながっているので、景色がとてもいいのです。 峠にもありましたが、仏教寺院へ行く標識もちゃんと出ています。到着すると、案内所があり、月曜は閉館なので、外から見てくださいと、はきはきとした英語で言ってくれた。多分、英国人だと思いますが、Kings Englishの訛りはありませんでした。私が真言宗と日本の巡礼を少し説明し、般若心経を唱えると、彼女も唱和してくるのには驚きました。 おそらく仏教関係に造詣の深い人なのでしょう。ダライラマ猊下も時々お見えになるそうで、彼の使う部屋も用意されているとのことでした。ホテルに戻って洗濯をし、ブログ、メールなどをキャッチアップしました。
