2020.0629.(wed) Toulouse-Piblac 19.5km, 12.2miles
Before leaving Toulouse, I had to visit Decathron, sporting goods store. I bought another Camelback. Left Hotel Blanc Wilson and head to the Pont Neuf, where I started in 2013. The bridge was beautiful as always.
Took lower route and keep walking. I prefer not to walk city streets. However, I lost in 2013 and only arrived to Colomieres train station where I had to ride on train to arrive Piblac. So, I wanted to walk to Piblac this time. The city streets were hot, noisy, busy and endless. Finally arrived at a river L’Aussonnelle and that was border between Piblac. Soon arrived downtown Piblac and found two beautiful churches on the hill. One, Church Sainte-Marie-Madeleine, was open and got stamp. It was OK up to this point. The accommodation was far away from downtown. It was “déjà vu” of the first day (6/1). Kept walking and walking but never arrived until all the water had exhausted. Finally arrived after 4 km and place was a good with a huge bath tub.
ホテルを出て、Pont Neufに向かいました。Pont Neufは、2013年に歩き始めた橋なので、懐かしい思いがしました。通常、市街地を歩くのは好まないのですが、前回は地図が不完全で道に迷ってしまい、目的地のPiblacに着く時前に、日が暮れてしまいます。親切な人が、一駅前のColomiersの駅まで乗せて行ってくれたので、一駅汽車に乗り事なきを得ました。それで、今回はぜひ歩いてPiblacに行きたかったのです。今回も地図とGPSが異なったルートを示していますが、GPSに従って市街地を行きました。途中で喫茶店のようなものがあり、昼食をとりました。Piblacに入る直前まで、だらだらと市街地が続きます。L’Aussonnelleという川を超えるとPiblacでした。丘の上の教会Church Sainte-Marie-Madeleineはまだ開いていたので、スタンプをもらいました。それからが大変でした。宿の住所はPiblacにはなっていますが、実際にはLa Gaoffeという地区にあり、Piblacより4ｋｍほど西北にありました。行けども行けども着かないし、水は無くなるしで、最初の日、6月1日の再現のような感じがしました。でも、結局着いていい宿でした。
