To walk to Aress is like 26km and WTC offered their taxi to transport me. The taxi is available at 12:30 so I took a little nap after the breakfast.
The taxi drove me to Puente la Reina de Jaca, where I decided to take lunch. The restaurant was owned by the father of the taxi driver and was a good restaurant and good food.
Start walking from there. it was paved car road for about 4km then had to climb the hill about 1.5km to get to Aress which was on the top on a hill.
The view from hotel room was magnificent which offered a good view of the Pyrenees. Encountered with a beautiful sunset.
計画ではPuenta la Reina de Jacaまで20.6㎞を歩く予定だったのですが、そこの宿が閉めてしまったので、やむなく5㎞ほど先のAressに部屋を見つけたとの事。それで、旅行社としては、Puenta la Reina de Jacaまでタクシーを手配したそうです。そのタクシーが来るのは12：30とのことなので、朝食後ひと眠りしました。タクシーで予定通りに、Puenta la Reina de Jacaに着き、昼食時なのでどこか食堂はないかと運転手に聞くと、Meson de la Reina というレストランに降ろしてくれました。彼の父親が経営しているとのことで、おいしい昼食を頂き、サンドイッチを作ってもらいました。というのは、Jacaからこちら、ハイウェイN240で20.6㎞を来ましたが、道路の周りにほまったく家屋を見ないのです。これからも見ないだろうから、念のため作ってもらいました。それから歩き出しましたが、心配した通り、家屋が全然みあたりません。Aressの登り口まで4㎞歩くと、倉庫のようなものが建っていたのの、人気がありません。Aressは小高い山の上なので坂を登り、宿に着きましたが、誰もおりません。20分ばかり待っていると、やっと老女が出てきて、部屋に入れてくれました。食事を出してくれたのは有難かったです。ここからは、ピレネーがよく見えましたし、その後に夕日が沈むのを見ることができました。
