Today, it needed to walk 26.1km to Burgos and there was no reasonable way for me to walk that distance. Had studied many options such as to walk to some point and call taxi. Usually, it become more difficult to walk and easy to get lost as become close to the big city. So, decided to ride taxi all the way to hotel in Burgos.
Arrived at Burgos hotel around 10 am. Luckily a room was available. I guess my body wanted me to get some sleep, so I obeyed. I had hotel receptionist to make reservation to visit the archaeologic site in Atapuerca, where I was not able to visit 7 years ago. At that time, I was suffered by planter farcicalities and there was a conflict with appointment with a foot massager. I wanted to visit today but closed for Monday and tomorrow was next best.
Then, went to shop a long sleeve shirt, then visited the Museo de la Evolution Humania, but Closed for Monday.
The Cathedral of Burgos was open. I saw inside thoroughly and was impressed. I could not visit 7 years ago and waiting for today’s visit. It was worth doing so.
Went up the hill and visited the Castello. Was hot and got rest at the bar near the Castello. In the evening, went to a restaurant recommended by the hotel. Food was good but I wished they could talk little softer.
今日はやっとブルゴスに着く日です。ブルゴスでは、前回やり残したことがあります。一つはアタプエルカの原人発掘現場の見学、二つ目はブルゴス大聖堂とお城の見学です。加えて、Loglonoで買ったランニングパンツがイマイチで買いなおさねばならないなど、ブルゴスでの時間をなるべく多く取りたいと思っていました。また、大都会の出入りには、道標も十分ではありません。（1）自動車道N-1を歩く道（2）自動車道N-120にそって歩く道（3）Rio Arlanzonの川沿いの道 の3つの異なったアプローチがあり、それらに入る分岐点がよくわからないという難点があります。前回は偶々道を知っている人が通りかかって教えてもらえました。最初の10㎞は歩いてもいいと思いましたが、それを歩き終わってうまく車が見つかるだろうかなどと考えると、最初から車でブルゴスの宿まで行くのが手っ取り早いという結論になりました。宿に着くと、幸いにも部屋は開いていました。体が睡眠を欲しているようなので、しばらく横になりました。宿の受付の協力で、アタプエルカの明日の発掘サイト見学予約が取れました。今日は月曜で閉まっていたのです。発掘物が展示されている人類進歩の博物館にいきましたが、月曜なので閉まっていました。ブルゴス大聖堂をつぶさに見学しました。見事な聖堂でした。丘を登って頂上の城塞を見学しました。とても暑くなったので、城塞前のバルで涼をとりました。夜は宿が紹介してくれたレストランに行きました。料理はおいしかったですが、みんな大声で喋るのには閉口しました。
