To avoid congestion of city streets, took taxi to Tardajos, 10km from the hotel. I got sandwich and band aid. Start walking at 10 a.m. and passed few villages. Start ascending towards the Meseta. There was a rest area at Fuente de Pratorres and took lunch there. Dry and hot but sun was occasionally blocked by some clouds. arrived in Hornillos at around 2 p.m.
At dinner, met with Korean woman 39 and talked in length. Rainstorm came down but no damage.
Walked 10.4 km and rode 10.6 km.
ブルゴスのような大都会には、入るのも出るのも市街地の雑踏を我慢せねばなりません。それを避けるために、10㎞先のTardajosまで車に乗りました。そこで昼食とバンドエイドを調達し、10時に歩き出しました。次の村、Rabeの村はずれの小さな祠のような教会を過ぎると、Mesetaへの登りが始まります。 メセタは台形の丘のようなもので、登ってしまえば頂部は平担なのですが、そこまで行くには登りがあり、急坂でなくても登りは登りなのです。麓のRabeの標高820mから頂上950ｍまでを5㎞ぐらいの距離で登ります。登りの途中でFuente de Pratorresという泉が木陰に囲まれていて、そこでランチをしました。このメセタは頂上の平坦な部分はあまり長くなくて、すぐに下りにかかり、Hornillosには2時前に着きました。この村は人口70人で、泊っている巡礼の方が多く、カミノの為にある村です。以前に比べると小綺麗になってると思いました。夕食時には韓国人の女性とかなり長く話しました。晩にはかなり激しい夕立が降りました。
