2022.0603.(Fri) Day 3 of 100 days on El Camino de Santiago de Compostela

It was a very good idea to take a day off on the third day. My body was not yet in tune to walk for long hours. Slept as much as I wanted and washed clothing. Then went out to explore the town. Found a bakery where I had lunch. Went to church in search of stamp on my credential. No attendant was there but met with a pilgrim, appeared to be well educated French lady who spoke very good English. She suggested to go to the Tourist Office, which I did. There were 2 attendants, both were very attractive ladies in the 30’s. I asked one of them to make reservation for a taxi for next morning. （I did not know at this time that Taxi in France was operated by individual and had to call them individually until you find a right taxi for the right time and fare.) They also recommended the restaurant I went last night as the best in town.
Came back to the hotel and checked email and wrote blog in the afternoon. I went back to the same restaurant and had good dinner again.
2022.0603(金）カミノ・100日巡礼のうち、3日目
過去の経験により、二日歩いた後で休みをとりました。体がまだ長時間の歩行に慣れていないので、徐々に慣らしていく必要があり、ここで休みをとったのは、大正解でした。寝たいだけねて洗濯したらお昼になりました。出かけると、筋向いにパン屋さんがあったので、サンドイッチで昼食にしました。クルデンシャルにスタンプを押してもらうために教会に行きましたが、教会の人はいませんでした。巡礼が一人、60歳ぐらいの教養のありそうなフランス人のご婦人で、英語も正しくて発音もきれいでした。彼女がツーリストオフィスにいったらと教えてくれたので、行ってみました。ここでは、なかなかはきはきとした頭脳明晰そうな30代のご婦人が二人いまして、いろいろ教えてくれました。明日は24キロもあり、初日の経験に照らして全部歩くのはリスクがあるとの判断から、途中までタクシーを予約してもらいました。（この時は知りませんでしたが、フランスのタクシーは個人営業で、空いているかとか乗せてくれるかについては、各ドライバーそれぞれに電話で確認が必要でした。フランス語ができないとかなり困難な作業になりますので、宿の人とかバルの人、または観光案内所に電話を依頼するのが早道でした。） いったん宿に帰り、コンピューターを開け、メールのチェックとブログを書いて、夜は、昨晩と同じレストランで食べました。
